HERE’S HOW TO USE LEMON TO GET RID OF KNEE PAIN AT HOME



Generally, usually older adults are faced with this medical condition, but it can also be experienced with young adults and children. Knee pain is a very common health problem that occurs as a result of constant wear and tear of the knee joint. Statistics show that women are more prone to knee pain than men
The exact location of the knee pain varies. Namely, the pain can originate in any of the bony structures compromising the knee joint (femur, tibia, and fibula), the kneecap (patella) or the ligaments and cartilage (meniscus).
Also, the pain in the keen can be localized or can diffuse throughout the knee. The severity of pain also can vary from a minor ache to very severe and disabling pain.
HERE’S HOW TO USE LEMON TO GET RID OF KNEE PAIN AT HOME
Ingredients:
·        1 – 2 lemons
·        Sesame oil
Directions:
It takes lemon nice to chop into small pieces. After that, tie the pieces in a cotton cloth and dip it in hot sesame oil. Then, put cloth on the affected knee for 5 to 10 minutes. Repeat this procedure twice a day until you feel that the pain is completely gone.
Note: Another option that also is beneficial is drinking the juice of one lemon diluted in a glass of warm water after you wake up in the morning, on an empty stomach.

Lemon is high in vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin C, A, B1, B6, magnesium, bioflavonoids, folic acid, pectin, phosphorous, calcium and potassium.

Calcium and vitamin C that are contained in lemons have the ability to prevent bone – related diseases and also help in maintaining and improving the health of bones.

The lemon is extremely beneficial when it comes to the joints and nerve, thanks to its ability to relax blood vessels and its anti – inflammatory properties.

In addition to that, the sesame oil is remarkable natural anti – inflammatory agent. It is able to penetrate through the tissues to the very marrow of the bone and thus enters the blood stream through the capillaries and circulates.
When to should visit a doctor?
 It is advisable to see your GP in case you notice the following problems:

·        if you feel severe pain even though you don’t put weight on your knees;
·        you notice fever, redness or heat around the knee;
·        your knee locks or painfully clicks;
·        you cannot put weight on your knee at all;
·        the pain is the same even after few weeks;
·        you are not able to fully straighten or bend your knee;
