YOU THINK THAT 120/80 IS A NORMAL BLOOD PRESSURE: YOU ARE COMPLETELY WRONG!

Pressure is something that in recent times many people have problems with it. It is generally accepted that more than 80,120 normal blood pressure. People around the world are familiar with the fact that if your blood pressure is higher than this, they should visit a cardiologist immediately.

Well, this no longer applies!

Recently, the ESC Association issued new guidelines. According to these new standards, the normal pressure to 140 systolic (the top number in a blood pressure measurement) and 90 diastolic (bottom number).
It is important to mention that this does not apply for people who suffer from diabetes, in which the limit is 130 over 80, and also for the older population.
Previously it was considered that if some person has blood pressure 139 over 89 it means that that person already is in hypertensive condition. Also, that patient needs to take medications immediately in order to avoid any additional increased risk of heart attack or stroke.
